WHAT'S ON IN JANUARY
Images from the Stone: An Exhibition of Lithograph Prints curated by the Friends of
Newport Museum and Art Gallery, 21 January to 3 June
The exhibition features prints from the collections of Newport Museum and Art Gallery which were obtained from the Redfern Gallery in 1953. The Redfern Gallery was founded in London in 1923 as a small artists' cooperative, and is now one of the longest-established dealers of Modern British and Contemporary art in London. The Museum purchased 28 lithographs to make the collections more relevant to post-war Britain.
